How to cook with Sage - Green:

Cook in butter or oil before sprinkling over meat or vegetable dishes.
Cjopped sage can be used in meat balls, meat loaves and in patties.

Examples:

It is used extensively to flavour soups, sausages, stuffings and marinades.
Sage is an essential ingredient of any poultry sutffing.

Sages have been cultivated in Northern Europe since medieval times. They are rich in volatile oils which vary from species to species and produce a wide range of aromas.
Salvia officinalis or the common sage is an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory herb of which the leaves can be made into tea.
