All about Lemon Balm - Available between September and March

Examples:

A tea made of the fresh or dried leaves makes children go to sleep easily. It is also a useful insect repellent.
In the kitchen, the fresh leaves give a lemon flavour to salads, soups, sauces, herb vinegars, game and fish. They can also be used to flavour cool summer drinks.

Herb hints for Lemon Balm:

Lemon Balm was originally grown as a bee plant; It's official name is Melissa Officinalis and Melissa is the Greek word for honeybee. It comes from the hot regions of North Africa but is now widely used because of its lemon scent and calming effect.
