Tasman Bay Herbs was the first commercial grower in New Zealand to be certified Vegfed 'Approved Supplier' in 1998. This programme later changed its name to NZ GAP. After 10 years utilising the GAP (good agricultural practices) system Don & Yoka decided to introduce their own in-house food safety programme and take their food safety to an entirely new level.

They are proud of their Food Safety Plan and you can have confidence in the very high standards achieved by the team at Tasman Bay Herbs. We eat our herbs every day so we want them to be the absolute best!

While we would like to be labelled organic New Zealand does not recognise hydroponics as an organic farming practice (other countries do).
